OZARK CITY COUNCIL Special Session
April 18, 2019
5:30 p.m.
Ozark city council met in special session on April 18, 2019 at 5:30 p.m. Mayor Roxie Hall, Clerk Eveld,
Holman, Patterson, Meeker, Nicely and Flanary were present. Andersons was absent.
On the agenda was presentations regarding the IT for the city. Mayor Hall set this up and wanted a
change from our current IT contract with Orla Larsen.
Before the presentations about IT, Tracee McKenna, Sasha and Ashley from WAPDD told the council
about block grants and other grants available to them.
Pinnacle gave the first IT presentation and said their costs would be $1128 per month plus $500
installation fee for coming on site. If not under contract the cost is $125/hour. The contract with
them would cost $13,536 per year or $15,058/month for upgrades. With upgrades available the
service could cost $35,280 per year.
Next ASI Advanced Solutions gave his presentation. He currently has the city of Dardanelle and
Clarksville. He has 7 staff members and has been in IT for 15 years.
He charges $85/hour plus tax. For the city, he would have a prepaid plan where blocks of 50 hours
and the hours would roll over. Web site design would be separate.
Last IMC Technologies presented their services. They currently serve Russeville and the prosecuting
attorneys offices. They are Legislative Audit aware and can move massive amounts of data.
They monitor data constantly and get volume licensing for products for a discount.
Dwayne asked if they could assess our system to see what the final cost would be and let council
know Monday night. They said they could.
