Ozark City Council Meeting, Budget meeting
Present were Mayor McNutt, Clerk Eveld, Patterson, Hall, Holman, Meeker & Anderson.
Meeting opened at 5:00
Council went over each line of salaries and budget line items and discussed changes. Several employees exceeded the maximum salary in the salary and they re-designated Reed as Patrolman instead of animal control, so he is back in range.
Randy Beneaux is above the maximum salary range and will receive the max at 36,452.17.
David Warren is above the maximum salary range and will receive the max at 42861.54.
Brenda Atkinson is above the maximum salary range and will receive the max at 41,444.76.
Joey Griffith is above the maximum salary range and will receive the max at 42861.54.
Grant Nicely was to receive 8% increase to raise his salary to comparable policemen, however he would exceed the salary cap, so he will receive the top of his salary range being 42,861.54.
Clerk Eveld asked for additional personnel for City Hall and Holman wanted to wait until after the first of the year.
Street Department wanted two new vehicles, and a skid steer added to his budget and adjust a few other line items on his budget.
Another budget meeting was set for January 7th at 5:30 p.m. at city hall council chambers.
A motion to adjourn was made by Holman seconded by Patterson. On a roll call vote the following voted: Aye: Patterson, Holman, Hall, Anderson, Meeker. No Nays.
Special Session adjourned at 7:30 p.m.
