Water Department Updates
The Ozark Water Department will be performing fire hydrant flushing to remove any
sediment or stagnant water from the distribution system and to test fire hydrant operation.
These steps are taken to improve the overall water quality within the distribution system
and to insure the delivery of the highest quality of water possible. The following schedule
will give the approximate day they will be in your area.
Monday May 9, 2022

Area of Alston St. and College St north, Includes N. 1 st thru N. 6th St, Carver, Market,
N. Bell, Prothroe Drive, Nickell, Cloos Circle, Walker, Spring, Warner, Williams, Oak,
Walnut Streets.

Area S 7th St and Commercial St. to S. Bell, Includes S. 1st thru S. 6th St, Main St, River
St, Webb City Area, Bridgeport Estates, S. 12th St, Bluff Drive
As a result of the flushing procedure, residents may experience low pressure and
discoloration in their water. This discoloration does not affect the safety of the water.
Discolored water may be removed from your pipes by running the cold water tap for a
